Every build I've put out, newest first, with everything that changed in each one.
Unless something in the latest one is broken for you, take the latest one.
They're all signed with the same key, so any of them installs over any other one
without uninstalling and without touching the game files you imported. Going
backwards is safe. If you do go back, tell me what pushed you there.
v1.1.1 Latest 16 October 2026
MD5 65182cf118b1ec35df8acc65007f3e54
New, and I've watched each of these working on my own headset:
- Handless guns. The Enforcer, Minigun, Pulse Gun, Sniper Rifle, Translocator and Chainsaw don't show the old flat screen hand anymore, so the gun just sits in your own hand. Handless gun models made by a member of the community, who asked to stay anonymous. Thank you!
- A Force 72 Hz option in VR Options. It still runs at 90 Hz by default, but if the frame rate dips in big fights for you, turn this on. 72 Hz holds steadier
- A proper download screen for online matches. It shows every file the server needs, with Join and Cancel buttons you can point at, and it stays put in the room instead of following your head
- A No Map Downloads option in VR Options. Turn it on and the server browser hides games running maps you don't have, so everything left is one you can join straight away
Fixed, and I've watched each of these working on my own headset:
- The gun ending up in your left hand even with right handed set. It now follows whichever hand you pick for Weapon Hand in the options
- The left grip opening the menu by accident. The menu is the Menu button on your left controller, and only that
- The sniper rifle zooming back out after every shot. It holds zoom now
Fixed in the code. Tell me if you still hit any of these:
- Clicking a thumbstick swapping your gun to the other hand by accident, usually while pushing the stick all the way forward. Stick clicks don't change hands anymore
- Auto Aim in the options making no difference. On and off both do what they say now
- A crash after joining an online game and downloading its files, which could leave the game unable to start
- Headsets on the same Wi-Fi not seeing each other's games in the LAN browser
- Metal Dream crashing while it loads
- Surfaces flickering against each other on lots of maps
Also, if the game ever crashes, it now tells you what went wrong in plain words the
next time you open it.
v1.1.0 Previous 21 August 2026
MD5 75b6948d882cff29241e16595c1a12d7
New, and I've watched each of these working on my own headset:
- Haptics, for the whole game. Every weapon feels different, primary and alt fire separately. Explosions shake both controllers harder the bigger and closer they are. Damage, pickups, jumps, landings and menus all register. There's a toggle if you'd rather not
- Every weapon's size, proportions and position in the hand tuned by hand, in the headset, one gun at a time. Mirrored properly when you swap hands or run dual enforcers
- Alt fire is now the grip on your gun hand. Squeeze and it fires, no more holding grip and pulling trigger
- The Redeemer's rocket steers with your head. Look where you want it to go. The stick works on top if you want it
- Dual enforcers fire from either trigger
- A VR Options menu under Mods: smooth turning, snap angle, turn speed, haptics, and a reset controls button
- The announcer. He was never silent, he was standing in one spot on the map and you could only hear him from there. Now he's in your head where he belongs, at the right volume
- The freeze during the intro, or when pressing menu as a level starts. This was the big one from the bug reports
- The whole game was playing every sound about 9 percent too fast, since 1.0.0. It doesn't now
- The triggers fire earlier in the pull, so shots feel immediate
- X and Y cycle weapons, and the grips can be rebound in Preferences like any other button
Fixed in the code, and these are the ones I couldn't fully reproduce because they need a Quest 2 or a broken first install:
- Quest 2: picking the data folder doing nothing. Android won't share the Download folder through its picker at all, so the app now finds your files in Download by itself and asks for permission once
- The boot loop. Two separate causes closed: a broken settings file can no longer re-import itself, and losing storage permission now shows you the permission screen instead of dying silently
- A faint whole scene shimmer in stereo. Each eye was rolling its own random brightness for every flickering light. They agree now
- A rare crash from custom sounds at unusual sample rates
v1.0.1 Older 12 August 2026
MD5 32b4275a9e2c1b01db152441ad1879c3
Fixed, and I've watched each of these working on my own headset:
- The sniper crosshair showing double while scoped
- Shots landing slightly off the middle of the crosshair. They land on it now, at any angle
- The version now shows in the corner in game, next to my name, so a bug report can say which build it came from
Fixed in the code, and these are the ones I couldn't reproduce because they need a headset or a first install I don't have:
- Getting stuck on Meta's loading screen with the music playing behind it. The app stopped feeding the compositor about twenty seconds in if it hadn't finished starting up yet, and a slow first boot ran past that
- Menu text far too big, and player models cut off, on Quest 2 and Quest Pro
- Reinstalling not fixing a broken install
- Changing a setting in Preferences leaving the app unable to start
v1.0.0 Older 10 August 2026
MD5 a63e8bdb3c247701d9fe73d88b52f624
The first public release. Everything 1.0.1 fixes is still present in this one,
including the stuck loading screen, so I'd only take it if 1.0.1 goes wrong for
you in some way this one didn't.
